Experience and Qualifications
General
- Earthjet pilots fly a sophisticated, light, twin-engine turbine transport (approximate weight 14,500 pounds)
- Pilots are the most critical team members for transporting customers to their destination in safety and comfort which is the primary Earthjet function
- Earthjet's success depends upon the pilots providing high levels of customer service
- Applicants must meet the minimum qualifications in order to apply
- In evaluating applicants, the following will be considered: background, personality, training, licenses, medical certificate, operational experience, flight hours, recency of experience, and experience with complex airplanes and systems
- Applicants will be evaluated for fit within the Earthjet team
Minimum Qualifications:
- Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certification
- Current FAA Class 1 Medical Certificate
- 1500 hours total time in airplanes
- 1000 hours turbine in airplanes
- 1000 hours Pilot in Command Time
- Experience with more sophisticated aircraft utilizing Electronic Flight Instrument Systems (EFIS) and Flight Management Systems (FMS)
- Vision corrected to 20/20
- Federal Communication Commission (FCC) Radio License
- Valid Passport with the ability to travel in and out of the United States
- High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma required, College Degree preferred
- Employment history of regular attendance
- Must be an appropriate organizational fit for the Earthjet culture
- Must be well groomed and maintain a professional appearance
- Must pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test
- Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
Skills, and Abilities:
- A working knowledge of computer systems, Microsoft Office Suite, Acrobat Reader and the ability to use browsers effectively are essential elements to the successful completion of our rigorous training program
- All applicants must be able to speak, read and write English and possess excellent communication skills
- Successful candidates must embrace the concept high customer service and strive for total customer satisfaction
- You must be able to consistently communicate well with your passengers
Work Environment:
- Operation from smaller GA airports as well as major airports
- Normal cockpit and ramp exposure per FAA required Pilot duties
- Light cleaning of the cabin between flights, and preparation for next flight
- Extensive utilization of electronic flight bag (EFB) equipment
- Utilization of Point of Sale credit card systems
- Reporting and communication using telephonic and Internet-based resources
