At Earthjet we are embedding safety in the Earthjet System as well as in our corporate culture. The Earthjet system is designed with safety as the number one priority. Our safety-first culture is designed to prevent problems before they occur. Through the commitment to early identification of possible safety issues in our system and procedure design, costly failures and the constant need to rectify mistakes can be eliminated.

Better Thought Yields Better Systems, Better Systems Produce Top Flight Safety

Our Aviation Safety Management System (ASMS) applies a systematic human resource based approach to safety that effectively manages human error and controls risk. Human factors include issues associated with crew resource management, cockpit distractions, communication errors, cockpit discipline, fatigue, and maintenance quality issues.

Our ASMS continually evaluates procedural, technical, and operating environment safety issues. We also look at the industry as a whole for common safety issues, as well as better practices from which we can benefit. One key system is our Air Safety Reporting System, which encourages voluntary incident reporting by maintaining a strict no-penalty issue reporting system within a no-blame corporate culture. We are focused on obtaining the best safety related information, and putting it to use for enhanced safety.

Our system is designed to exceed the minimum requirements, and impose our own standards to ensure the highest degree of safety is delivered to our passengers. Federal Aviation regulations are fundamentally reactions to accidents. In meeting the letter and spirit of the FAA regulations, protection is gained by not repeating past mistakes. For Earthjet, that is not good enough. We apply an additional layer of protection, one gained by adopting the best practices of our industry.

Zero Accident Rate

Our goal is to achieve the highest level of safety in the industry and a zero accident rate. A zero accident rate can only be accomplished if everyone accepts the challenge with a personal goal to elevate the margins of safety and anticipate rather than react - this is ingrained in our corporate culture. Toward that end, Earthjet continues to evaluate new safety enhancing products, systems, procedures, and training techniques for introduction into our system.
